How to say in Hebrew "intermittent"?

I suggest "מופיע לסירוגין" or even "לסירוגין" alone.
The term "סירוגין" may indicate separate intervals of time or of space
(see for example treatise Rosh Hashana 26b, Baba Batra page 62b, etc...,
and Even Shoshan dictionary).
The only problem is that some people may not know this word.

How to say in Hebrew "intermittent"? Words such as תקופתי, מקוטע, או
לא קבוע do not fit as I am trying to describe a bug to Orange.
Specifically, the bug is intermittent but I have yet to figure out
under what conditions it appears. How would you say that?
