Turns out that oowriter 2.4.1 (Debian Lenny) does not have this feature
(at least without installing an unknown extra package).
However, I found that http://www.coolutils.com/Online-HTML-Converter.php
does the work but needs minor hand-editing afterwards.
Now it's time to hope that the companies, to which I resent my CV in the
requested format, have CEOs and PMs with a clue - or at least that if
they turn out to be clueless, I'll find out at the interview stage.
