I'll be glad to hear, if there's a company or individual which is willing to
maintain and support an open source ADA IDE for Linux.
A government office needs a decent ADA IDE support for Linux, have evaluated
some commercial solutions (adacore.com and IBM's Apex), and withing this
price range, they could as well hire someone to support an open source
solution. (to clear any doubt, this is not an official request from anyone
but myself. I'll just refer anyone suitable to the correct contact person).
The open source solution I've found on the web are GPS, and project Hibatchi
for Eclipse. Both might be suitable, and any other suitable software I might
have missed might be accepted.
The candidate is required to integrate an ADA IDE (which should support
features similar to the eclipse JDT, eg, call hierarchy, find all
references/usage/definition, jump to definition etc) in a Linux environment,
and to fix specific bugs and issues with the project according to the
client's need. The code
I believe that this is a year/half a year project.
If anyone is willing or know someone/some company which is willing to take
such a job I'll be glad to hear.
Feel free to contact me
