There may be, I never actually saw the box. After looking at my specs
and talking to their techs, they said it was not for me. They were not
going to turn off provisioning and they were not going to change their
configs to give me one of my own.
As for canceling without penalty, I never was connected, never signed
a contract, etc, so it is now a moot point. We'll see if they offer me
something better. :-)

Sort of. IMHO if they are giving me VoIP as if it were landline
service, they have the right to provison the VoIP side of the box
anyway they want. The network side is a different issue and they were
polite and told me what they brought was not for me. So the installer
thanked me for my time and left, having done nothing.
