SIM Card reading using a USB modem?

I have a ZTE netstick that is supported by Linux.

Is there any program(s) that would let me read the phone directory off  
of the SIM in the netstick, edit it and write it back?

What I am really interested in is copying my SIM card directory to a  
different SIM.

I am not in a position to buy a bluetooth or android phone to use it,  
so this seemed the best thing to do.
