[RBS] Registering as a Member of the Likud

When one registers ONLY for the party, then one is registered as a member of the party. However, there is such a thing as being registered as member of a particular faction within a party, and the "Manhigut Yehudit" faction has been actively campaigning for people to join their faction specifically, which indeed appears to me to encourage in-fighting within the party. However, according to their outlook they are justified in registering as many people as they can to their specific faction; but many people do not identify with their particular political/philosophical outlook, and those people should NOT register as members of the "Manhigut Yehudit" faction.


I was simply pointing out that, though he neglected to mention it in his Email, Aryeh Sonnenberg represents the "Manhigut Yehudit" faction, its outlook, and its efforts to recruit people to their specific faction within the Likud (and having many people listed within the Likud as members of their specific faction is supposed to gain their faction certain leverage within the Likud).

When one registers as a member of the Likud, one is NOT then registering for
a paticular faction, but rather for the Likud party itself.  Factions have
no part of the registering; neither is in-fighting in a party!  But that's
another story.  Which makes the 'warning' irrelevant.

Everyone should be aware that Aryeh Sonnenberg represents a particular
faction, called Manhigut Yehudit, within the Likud.


While, in my opinion, it is a good ides to be a Likud member, people who do
not want to be part of the Manhigut Yehudit faction should ensure that they
are NOT registered as part of Aryeh Sonnenberg's faction.
